The present delivery and return conditions are an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of CAHU, within which they are contained in articles 10 and 11.
In the event of any discrepancy between these Terms of Delivery and Return and the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, it is expressly provided that the General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall prevail.
Delivery
Terms of Delivery
Delivery occurs based on the Purchaser's choice:
- Either by picking up the Articles at the withdrawal point located at: 38 rue Lucien Sampaix - 75010 PARIS.
- Or by receiving the Articles at the postal address indicated during the Order.
CAHU delivers Products in France and abroad to any valid address.
The delivery charge depends on the Order amount and the delivery method chosen by the Buyer. The Buyer will be informed of this during the Order process, prior to its final validation.
The delivery charges applicable to the Order are those listed on the Site at the time of the Order in the "Delivery and Returns" section.
Delivery Times
CAHU strives to deliver Orders within the following maximum times:
- Twelve (12) working days for delivery in Metropolitan France.
- Twenty (20) working days for delivery in French overseas territories or abroad.
Delivery times are in working days and start from the first working day after the Order's validation.
To ensure these deadlines are met, the Buyer must provide accurate and complete information concerning the Delivery address (e.g., street number, building number, access codes, etc.).
The Buyer can track the progress of the Order through the reserved space on the Site or by email at contact@cahuparis.com.
Preparation and Shipment
CAHU strives to prepare and deliver the Order to the carrier within one (1) to five (5) working days, starting from the day after the Customer validates the Order.
Deliveries are made by CHRONOPOST, TNT, DHL, UPS, or any other carrier chosen at CAHU's discretion, from Monday to Saturday.
The Buyer acknowledges that, once CAHU has handed over the Items to the carrier, the risk of loss or damage to the Items is transferred to the Buyer at the time of Delivery.
Delay and Impossibility of Delivery
In the event of a delay in Delivery, as long as the Delivery has not yet occurred, the Buyer may request the cancellation of the sale by emailing CAHU at contact@cahuparis.com, providing:
- The Order number.
- The reason for the return.
- The Order tracking number.
If CAHU receives the cancellation notice before the Order is shipped, the Delivery will be blocked, and the Buyer will be refunded within thirty (30) days after CAHU receives the registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
If the Order has already been shipped, the Buyer must refuse the package. CAHU will then refund any debited sums within thirty (30) days after receiving the returned package in its original condition.
CAHU is not liable for damages resulting from a delay in delivery. Only the reimbursement of the Items and delivery charges will be offered, excluding any other form of compensation.
If Delivery cannot be made due to an incorrect delivery address or failure to collect the Order from the collection point, no reshipment will occur, and the Buyer will be refunded within sixty (60) days from the date CAHU receives the returned Order.
Receipt of the Order
Upon receiving the Order, the Buyer must inspect the condition of the Items. The Buyer is responsible for making any necessary reservations and claims or refusing the package if it is visibly damaged. Claims must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt within three working days of delivery. A copy must also be sent to CAHU.
Failure to file a claim within this period will extinguish any action against the carrier as per Article L.133-3 of the French Commercial Code.
Invoice
Purchase orders and invoices are archived on a reliable and durable medium.
The Buyer may request a copy of the invoice(s) corresponding to their Order(s) by emailing contact@cahuparis.com.
